I just wanted to ask a question: how can I deal with paths of assets in my SCSS files so that they work both when running with "ng serve" and when serving via the Django app?

E.g. if I have a component that is in several nested folders (src/app/library/components/common/footer/) and I reference an asset like this:

 background: url("../../../../assets/images/darkest-background.png") repeat;

this will work with "ng serve" but the path will be wrong when serving with Django, because "collectstatic" will have put that file in /static/myapp/bundles/frontend/assets/images

Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Re: Incredible Strava stats give an insight into the echelons at the end of Giro d’Italia stage three

Yes.

Re: InstaCRT puts all other photo filter apps to shame (video)

Wait, so you really think that whatever you buy, is forever?

Re: Not Invented Here by Bill Barnes and Paul Southworth

Almond.

Re: Tie inspection

Thanks. I don't think a forum would catch. What I'd love to implement is a reddit like system. Since reddit is opensource, I could download the sources, then have a reddit.geekherocomic.com and prople could vote and comment on the comics in a threaded fashion, without all the cons you mentioned.
Perhaps in the future.

Re: Technobabble Contest | Geek Hero Comic - A webcomic for geeks

Hehe, well the multiple pages thing is AJAX, so it's not really an excuse to get more pageviews, because it doesn't generate any. It's just that I figured most of the people doesn't go on and read the comments, so the loading of the page will be faster. Also, rarely there's more than 25 comments.

Re: Technobabble Contest | Geek Hero Comic - A webcomic for geeks

Yes.
