I do believe that Jesus is the only way but at the same time I am all for getting along with those who don't. simplyecclesia@gmail.com

Re: Atheists and Christians Community Blog has been added to The Atheist Blogroll

I wish that there was a Christian scrolling thing like that but I don't think that there is. It may be with the fact that Christians can't seem to stick together very well. If one doesn't have the same set of doctrines as other Christians their faith begins to be questioned.

Re: Invisible Friends

I think we are going to have to learn how to live together. I have come to believe that if I am really following Jesus then I can live beside anybody despite their worldview. Jesus doesn't tell me to love people because of what they believe but because they are people. And mike, thanks for reading my site!

Re: So much for integrity from the Christian Community - ExChristian.Net - Articles

Since this post is originally about my site then I would like to comment. My site is not just about apologetics. We have an apologetics contributor who is Jabe. People are gifted in different areas and right now I am just a newbie with apologetics. I wouldn't say this is my gift but rather an area I just want to understand a little better.

Now please don't take the following as an insult: boom is somewhat of a troll on my site and I will explain why. First he assumes that I want to be refuted on almost every post I put up. I do not. Not everything I post deals with atheism/apologetics issues. In fact I am leaving this to Jabe. I am trying to sit back and observe so I can learn. Nothing wrong with being a student right?

Second is because he doesn't know the mission of the site and just assumes that it is all about atheism that I want to know about. The sub-title of my site even says, Loving God with Heart, Soul, and Mind. Now I believe that apologetics falls under this but that is not the only topic that is or should be discussed on Simply Ecclesia.

Third, boom even tried to refute taking a horse to water but the horse not drinking. I think this is when I realized I was talking to somebody who is not really playing with a full deck. I know once boom sees this he will refute that it is not necessary that a person have a full deck to play cards.

Anybody is welcomed to Simply Ecclesia. People can refute all they want. It doesn't mean I have to answer. Personally if I don't answer you it is because I have to much to do during my day to take the time to provide an adequate answer. Also I promise not to delete anymore of my post. I do apologize about that boom.

Also I would like to add, if you visit simplyecclesia.com take note of how Mike aka MonolithTMA presents himself. He is friendly and treats others how he would want to be treated. Thanks Mike.

Re: I never wanted to be an Atheist.

I wanted to thank you for being a complete gentleman on my site simplyecclesia.com. Also thanks for recognizing who posts what over there. Since I am a Christian please don't take offence when I say that I hope God let's you know that He is real. Take care.

Re: I've missed out on so much, and I'm angry - Testimonies of Ex-Christians

Sorry if it is me that has caused you to say the above. To tell you the truth I could care less if you follow Jesus. I think everyone should be presented with the option to follow Him. Your an adult who can make that choice for yourself. If you don't want to choose Christ then that is up to you. I am not here to get anybody to think like me or to follow Him. I just think that a lot of people stereotype Christians into the same basket.

See I am different. You go ahead and keep believing in whatever it is that you believe in... I could care less.

Re: I've missed out on so much, and I'm angry - Testimonies of Ex-Christians

Sorry if it is me that has caused you to say the above. Who in their right mind would want to become a slave to rules and regulations? I know I wouldn't. Religion is garbage. To say that my relationship with Jesus Christ is religion is untrue. That is like saying that a child and mother are in a religion together just because they are in a relationship with each other.

Re: I've missed out on so much, and I'm angry - Testimonies of Ex-Christians

Yes I have to agree that organized worship is still religion. I follow Jesus the Christ which is not a religion. If it is, then so is getting married to your spouce and loving your parents. Following Jesus is relationship based not rule based. I dislike religion just as much as anybody else on this site.

Re: I've missed out on so much, and I'm angry - Testimonies of Ex-Christians

Yes my last name is Knapp. Does that make a difference?

What is a religious person. In layman's terms what is the definition of a religious person?

You seem very bitter towards Christianity. Is your "un-testimony" or whatever it is called here somewhere on this site so I can see it and so you don't have to repeat yourself?

Re: I've missed out on so much, and I'm angry - Testimonies of Ex-Christians

I haven't done to bad. What's the worst that can happen when we dialog. I seriously doubt that either one of us will change each other's minds. I am not angry with atheists and I am not sure that atheist should be mad at me. But I should add some clarity. I follow Jesus, not religion. If there is anything to be mad at it is religion. I am not sure that we have a right to be mad at Jesus. What did He ever do to hurt us?
