Great to hear this one. I know of the Equals only through "Baby Come Back" and "Viva, Bobby Joe"; but this is the first time I've listened to the original of The Clash cover.

The less said about Eddy Grant's solo career, the better.

Oh. It was the timeline, there, which came up as "1 years ago" immediately after I posted that comment, but reverted to "1 minute ago" after one minute. It cinfused the hell out of me too.

The Wiretap article raised some excellent points. Thanks for that link; I've posted it on my site also (the link). I've been deliberating today about reinstating the deleted post from back-up without the original files, but I haven't decided yet if it's worth the hassle. I experienced some major hiccups after tinkering with reimporting and attempting to merge older backups prior to the Takedown.

Wonderful stuff. Where is this from ? It sounds like a fairly recent series of readings; Buk sounds both composed and resigned.

Thanks. I just did a check on "Last Days..."; I do have it, but it sounds like a live reading from an earlier period - I have it filed as being from "Poems And Insults" - "Recorded Live reading at city lights poets theater, san francisco, september 14, 1973." This may, or may not, be accurate.

I may post it later. There is some fairly amusing banter between Buk and a heckler. It sounds like it was a tough gig.
