Indeed, some of the tracks are easier to tell than others. The most interesting ones move about in ways that one wouldn't expect. What were they up to?

Indeed, I wonder what the warm weather will do Sunday! Were you on the ice with pogo sticks? That is what could have made those hole marks around the ice?

Paul, it was interesting to use. I did try it twice and it worked both times. Not sure I'll stay with it though. Did find that once on the network, couldn't do anything else on the phone via the network. It is locked down, which from a security perspective I fully understand.

On additional trips to the store without deliberately using the ScanIT app, I was finding I couldn't use FourSquare, or Facebook, etc. Finally realized within the store it was auto connecting to the scanit network. Now that I realized that, I turned it off and restored the functionality to the phone. I'll stay with their scanning devices.

Matt, I am glad to have helped. Jerry never said much as I was growing up. I think the way opened after the publication of "Flag of our Fathers". He read that and was willing to talk. I'll give credit to James Bradley for researching to find out about his father.

Pete, thanks for chiming in on this. In one of my comments on this elsewhere I said that "trust starts with respect". The behavior of the Committee has them in 'damage control' mode now. They are starting to spread their excuse for not showing up.

In this digital world, they could have easily sent out the word before hand that they were not going to be there. This action alone would have changed the conversation. Spreading the word now is too late.

We've been on this Blackstone River bike path a few times now both walking and riding, it has good views each season.

Thanks, Bruce. With the tools becoming so easy to use, the bar to entry is being lowered. Along with the tools, the network of those using them, willing and able to share the tips and tricks, insights, do's and don'ts also become visible and readily available. A little peer-to-peer learning goes a long way! I look forward to the monthly gathering of the media makers at SNEMM.

This valuable feature has been there for several years. I use Flickr all the time for my photos and while I occasionally use this feature, I prefer to grab the html code for the jpg photo to use in the post. Overall makes it easier for editing and formatting the post text on the blog. The text formating in Flickr is quite limited.

Laura, I think LinkedIn needs to be careful in being too much like the 'other guy' - "also rans" are just that. Being distinct is a winning position. Neither Twitter nor Facebook can come close to the professional brand LinkedIn has established for itself.

That much said, not everyone gets the benefits of LinkedIn. It has multiple uses, those looking for work (like myself) can get great info. Those looking to keep abreast of what's happening in their arena can do likewise. Those who want to keep their head in the sand (like your 'friend') are welcome to sit and do just that. Their loss!

It was interesting to see wordle used that way. Of course, I was aware of it and had used it before but not for a resume. Duh, it just hadn't occurred to think of that! And makes so much sense!

Thanks Diane. It will be a go this time, we have over 20 registered thus far with more to come as we get closer. Having a "free" facility means, we will not cancel at the last minute due to missing our break even point. Anyone who shows up will benefit from the event!
