Hi Jed, some corrections. I don't think your 'offense' was to menghasut against Raja2 Melayu... it should be Raja2 UMNO. Penarik Beca + Kickdefella got into the same situation before and they are Malays. I can't pretend I know how you are feeling right now but, please don't get into UMNO's trap - playing the racial card. I honestly don't think the sultan will have the time to sit down and browse through the blogs to see how they fare in the eyes of his rakyats. These are obviously the doings on Raja2 UMNO, trying to show pretentiously that they really care the Sultans

Hi Jed,

The problem is RPK believes that he cannot get fair trial on this. I think most of us feels the same way too. The evidence and police statement has been in the authority's hand but... NFA, no futher action. This, to me, shows that there are still some honest and good policemen, who wants justice to prevail. I know, the end doesn't justify the means, but what other options do you have? What RPK did may be questionable but if you use your common sense, you should be able to understand why...

Hi Jed,

What's all the fuss? You blog for your own reasons, not for anyone's sake. You did not force anybody to read your blog neither did you persuade other to believe that what you said is the absolute truth. Thus, I personally believe that you should care less about all the comments whatsoever. As we all know by know, there are thousands of BN's and PR's cyber troopers. Who knows that maybe 80% of your readers are from either of those groups? Again, why bother?

On Eli's case... There are two separate issues at hand. I think YB Khalid Samad kinda explained it. One, is intrusion and exposing one's private life. Second is the western open liberalization lifestyle. As a muslim, I was taught that both are wrong. I cannot be a peeping tom just to expose one's unlawful act to God (drink, zina, etc.). Again, YB Khalid Samad have the story of Caliph Umar Al-Khattab on this. At the same time, I do not condone a not-married couple to live and stay under one roof unsupervised - whether they are having sex or not is irrelevant. Islam taught us that when there are two people, there bound to be a third being, which is the devil. Since you are a practicing Christian, I believe we share the common values :)Nonetheless, I do not think that she should resign but this is another separate issue altogether.
