When the Kurt Russell version came out, it took me a while to get through it because it was so much more graphic. Don't worry though, I have seen it from beginning to end and am now able to sit calmly and watch the entire movie. I think a sequel would be great. By the way, did you know that the "Thing" in the first movie was played by James Arnes?
