David Arnold once told me on Twitter that Walker insisted on recording it in the studio with only Arnold and the engineer present. It's a gorgeous track.

Re: Apple Watch Satisfaction

Interesting. So, two weeks in, did you love the Watch, like it, or feel indifferent to it. Personally I liked mine after a few days, and like it even more after a month. When did your not-knowing turn into dissatisfaction? Genuine question.

Re: Apple Watch Satisfaction

I think you should have taken it back. All three zeroed data smoothly, and restored perfectly. You seem to have had a problem with one iPhone and happily parlayed that into a general outrage about Apple. It strikes me that the problem could just as easily have been with the Nexus.

Re: Designing an iPhone app icon: Last.fm

My problem with the Last.fm app icon isn't the subtle things you've focused on. I just can't learn to associate that indecipherable squiggle with Last.fm. Almost as painful as the Adobe CS icons IMO. Would something that essentially said "customised radio stations" kill them?

Re: Phew...

You guys worry too much. I think there's a sense in which it's slightly too in awe of great horror set pieces, and the hospital sequence doesn't sit entirely comfortably within the overall tone of the film, but the way in which it handles the austerity, and the emotional and environmental isolation of (all) the characters is superb.

There's obviously much more in the book than is fully explored within the parameters of a film, but I think it's all the better for that: The vagueness over gender, and the hinting towards paedophilia add to the richness of the whole. I can't help but think that all this will be absent from the US version of the story that's currently in production.

Re: Behind the scenes at Smile

Is the comment system working yet?
