Such a lovely interview and so great that you were able to meet in person over cookies and chat about books, process and writing - she is the most delicious person, isn't she?! I want to eat her all up, as my nephew used to say (fortunately she doesn't know this 😀)
So glad we met virtually through her event - because your blog has fast become a favourite for me. I wish Priya would restart her own blog, but am so glad it exists!

Well done on your first podcast! I absolutely love your blog and am loving as you are evolving with all these different ideas - the kinds of stuff I have lined up but never get around to sorting out. And you did all of it in one day! Amazing!
Next up - YouTube vlogging for sure. They'll be hugely successful. Am quite addicted to some of the 'young ones' in the vlogging world :-)
Also, amazingly well done on the interview. I love the image of the two of you eating gooey cookies and chatting at the Birdhouse. It takes courage to ask an author for an interview! Xx

Hello! Lovely drawing! It's the cover of the book by her son Sean - Elegant Spirit - have you got that book? I'm sure you do. It's a very thorough biography from a very beloved son. They had the most soulful connection, I think. Have you watched the documentary with him talking about her? You can YouTube it. 'My Best Friend by Sean Ferrer'... I've watched it quite a few times :)
Thanks for being honest about your impression of the exhibition - so now I won't schlep from Cambridge to London to see it!! But I loved your post about it all the same so thankyou!

Lovely collection! Yesterday I tried peanut butter and apple on your recommendation and it was lush 😊
The exhibition sounds fabulous - had no idea that there was a museum of childhood at the V&A... Maybe we could meet there for coffee in the summer!

And I love what you say about our changing bodies... So true... So important to live inside the skin of now - although can be depressing at times too!

Ha ha! I love that all I had to was google Rayna Jaymes nail polish and I found a hardcore fan like me :))
I love when I get into shows a bit later than everyone else - it means I have loads of episodes to gorge on! Almost two entire seasons!
Deacon is the man. That kiss in the elevator!
Also agree with one of the comments about Zoe Ball's nails - I literally never take my eyes off them during It Takes Two.

Dear Jeannette, thank you for your wonderful uplifting posts to Shaista. My daughter's spirits bloom each time she feels she is appreciated. These weeks in hospital have been very very hard on her. As yet, we do not know how much longer she will need to be there. But all you very kind people, who follow her blog, have made her difficulties lighter to bear. Thank you. Perveen
