Glad you liked the documentary. Loved your point on what you make of your situation is the most important.

Three of the greatest movies of all time (limited budgets)
1. Godfather (Budget 6-7 Million)
2. Rocky (Budget 1.1 million)
3. Shawshank Redemption (Budget $25 Million; still quite small)

Limited resources with amazing vision is a good recipe.

Great post John. Such simple lessons but when they are modeled it really helps you emulate. I have met your dad in the past and I was always impressed with his books he was reading , his deep ability to listen. Your writing is getting better and better awesome to see. I am a fan of podcasts as well. It's like an hour or two with the top people in many fields and it's FREE! I listened to the Andy Stanley Podcast that you recommended, it was good to hear. I especially liked the part about the strategy doesn't really matter if you believe in the end there is no one way to do things. Also the fact that you lead from where you are start with yourself.

I had to share this podcast with you it was done with Seth Godin and Chase Jarvis (Seth is a legendary thought leader on marketing and the way the world is moving and Chase is a famous photographer running a business called Creative Live helping others with life education) The podcast talks about Education, Tips and Tricks, Art vs. Making a living that you can find online, etc. Link to podcast : https://www.producthunt.com...
