I make all deposits inside a branch and even then I'm still nervous wondering if the bank is going to get robbed while standing in line. Even though they "appeared" friendly we weren't going to take any chances so my husband told a little white lie and said they were vicious and were chasing kids playing in the community playground. The next day 2 animal control vehicles were out picking these two dogs up. My husband and I made the decision a few weeks ago to homeschool our kids. He quit his job to stay-at-home with them. We got rid of the sitter that was costing us a boatload of money for 3 kids and cut our fuel consumption in half since the hubby no longer has to drive 45 minutes to work. Right now I'm out of state on business and my husband took the kids and went back to our old home last night because the oldest was having issues with her asthma. I think this summer we're going to see more big fires like this one as oppossed to hurricanes. An employee of mine just made a wisecrack about how I've lost a home to just about every natural disaster...Northridge quake, Painted Cave fire, St. Lucia mudslide. I live about 20 minutes south of this one and though I'm not stressed it's bringing up memories of the Painted Cave fire in 1990 ( west coast). That fire jumped railroad tracks and two major highways. Especially if its in an area where I own property. My renters had no problem in getting home because I had called them as they were driving home asking about their kids who attend Nease and to make sure that they were aware of the situation.
