I'd rather have each person be more equal in it. or more of the girl in it instead of a guy. i dunno if its a US wedding photographer thing but im used to seeing the focus more on the bride for some reason. i feel like guys and girls view weddings differently.. i wish i could see her dress more cuz im sure it was expensive and it looks gorgeous. like i dont think its a horrible crop at all, i just wish it were the other way around kinda. did that make sense?

cute but i wish there were more fill light. i mean i like that they are pretty dark, but a liiiiiiitttllleee more fill would make me very very happy! oh and im not totally in love wit the framing/crop. but sometimes you just cant help so i cant tell if that was the situation. otherwise very wedding-y. if you did weddings out here, you'd make bank. come back! :D hahahaha

luckily it was REALLY bright and it was on concrete so it gave a lot of bounce and the bright sun bounced really well off the reflector!

I like this! I think the shadow could be a little more interesting shaped but i loooooove that its out of focus. A little nit-picky but the color gradation in the top left corner is really distracting to me.

I like the texture but yeah, totally not minimalism! hahahaha. if it were a plain background (like cement or just white) with a shadow you'd be more along the right line. :)

Since I feel like this is probably my most true-to-myself stylistically, I'm willing to post it in this crappy, compressed form rather than posting something cleaner that doesnt represent me as well.

The way when it's viewed in the final form (a shadow/lightbox with 5 layers), the vent and background basically disappear into the real wall and the girl is almost floating, so since it's compressed, i'm sure they dont match at all (the back layer should be a good 3"-4" behind the girl). As this is not the final form, it is not near perfect.

I put it up because it is more stylistically me.. and I guess I am picky about execution, but I'm most picky about final product (which is not this).

i kinda like this photograph dark and not-contrasty because I think it works well with how grungy everything is.

I don't, however, like lens bending. It's especially noticeable on architecture and straight lines (like this photo). I think editing that could be beneficial to your photo.

As for Jin's comments, although many people say photoshopping a photograph is lame (some even say cheating), I stand behind it because photoshop is EXACTLY like being in the darkroom when you are doing film (technical terms are still the same). It's darkroom on your computer. People don't put out film photographs without editing them in the darkroom, so why would you put out a digital photograph without editing it on the computer?

It's very pretty.

A lot of your photos always have a very strong certain color cast which usually drives me CRAZY but they dont bother me when its on your photos (because I think they match the photographs really well).

I think this shot is cute, but I dont like how her body is in a straight line from her head.. something to think about maybe.
