I tell many prospective clients that I can not/will not do business with them and they should go elsewhere when I think that the working relationship will be bad for my business, bad for my personal mental health, or my favorite, I just don't want to. I GET TO CHOOSE. None of it has anything to do with civil rights. And I don't lie like our society wants us to and say "oh, I am too busy." I have rejected and accepted all races, creeds, religions, LBGT and so on.

A perfect example of the lack of actual logic and only fervant ideology is the debate in upstate NY about tracking. Before I moved, I was discussing the pros and cons of gas/oil extraction in that area. When I questioned progressives and moved them down the logic funnel, I would ask this - if the industry could PROVE that their technology was 99.9% safe and land/road issues were resolved, would you be in favor? Of course the answer is NO. They had no vision of a transitional period moving us from our own (not imported) energy resources to a stable, viable green energy country. And they had a governor who backed them up. Absolutely absurd. Grass hut, socialist ideology. Glad I moved.

I have commented on this topic many times now on other blogs. I have a business. I chose who I want to do business with. If I know it won't go well, I won't do business with you. That is my right. I get to chose. And I do not want to be forced to lie to cover up my faith or beliefs. This is NOT discrimination. If I lie, won't I just get sued because I lied to cover up my "disdain" or perpetrated a civil rights violation? Its an extremely slippery slope. Same sex marriage is not federal law (yet) and it extremely polarizing. If you have a same sex marriage planned and want services, you will have no problem finding someone to take your money. Leave people alone who have beliefs (long held) which are contrary to yours.

I have no on site reason to believe that it was an inside job. My welder contact had no agenda, that I could discern. This was only a couple of months after the incident. My feet were on the ground and I try to not get sucked into conspiracy theories. The answer to your second question is I saw this thread on Facebook and with all of the "theories" flying around, I felt I could add a different perspective to the discussion.

I worked at Ground Zero for six months. I personally went to a 2 day Safety course on site with a welder who was in building 7 after the collapse. We went in to help excavate. He told me that there was no way it was an inside job or imploded. This was in December 2001. I trust him. Period.

Don't necessarily agree with this point 100%. Must go back to the founding fathers and their faith. Must acknowledge Supreme Court rulings through early 1950's, and the secular change in the 50's. So the schools are spiritually void which make them ripe with relativism. There are absolute tenets and the Bible was a way to teach them. There may be solutions without pushing one or another faith. There are ethical commonalities. Bible clubs, Meet at the Pole and many other pre and post school activities coud be increased. But the status quo is not the answer.

I am sick of the crying about outside money and being outspent. President Obama has been a fund raising machine and had the advantage during the 2008 election. He is even taking money from sources that he said he never would. And the Conservatives knew how important this race in Wisconsin was. They executed and won. the Dems could have raised the money if they wanted to. Instead, the President tweeted his support in. It was a bad idea with a failed strategy. Thats it.

I am late to the party. I just finished the Shack today, December 27th 2011. The timing was perfect. I needed this book to re-energize my walk with the Lord and need to live in Him and Him in me. Not since I attended Walk to Emmaus a couple of years ago have I been so convicted. Do not try to decide if the book is scripturally or theologically correct. There are many statements and paragraphs that will transform your life, bring deeper understanding and allow you to serve and minister to others. I am stunned by the book and the fact that that it is Willie's first. I am sure that God is "especially fond of him".
