- I'm a 30-something professional, married, with one child. I grew up on the West coast and moved to the midwest for graduate school almost 10 years ago; my husband grew up in India and moved to the same midwest town for the same reason at almost exactly the same time. Our relationship has been welcomed by both sides of the family, and we are working to make traveling to India frequently a priority in our lives, although we are settling here.
