My first reaction is "no way would i pay $30 mo for 'all my software'". I'm an iOS/Mac user - 50% of the software I use is free, bundled with my OS. The other 50% (Sketch, Principle for Mac and Framer) adds up about $300 yearly (or perhaps, multi-yearly, depending on how their pricing schemes evolve). Well, I realize that's about $25/month... so yeah, maybe I would be willing to pay $30/mo for unlimited software. Especially if it included multiple operating systems.

Is Homebrew "behind the times" in requiring XQuartz? I have a 2015 MBP. I see X11 has been phased out. Why does Homebrew "complain" if we don't have it installed? Thanks.

It'll b interesting to see how specific the sensors are, e.g., did the user just lift their arm to wipe sweat from their forehead? Or to start their daily journal writing session?

I'm interested in hearing more about how the users can monetize the content they create. For example, if someone puts up an illustration on DeviantArt, and DeviantArt runs an add next to that illustration, how can the user benefit monetarily from their efforts?

If you need a quick solution, you can simply type in your mac ip address, add :8888 to it, and you're ready to go. This works for testing on mobile too. Thus, following your example, it would be: http://192.168.1.102:8888/mylocalsite.hello.whatever/

this is great news! up to now, if i bought an appleTV, it didn't solve the problem of how to view movie files on my tv that weren't already in my iTunes library. now i can watch those .avi files my old man sends me in emails... you know the ones that show magicians on russian television changing outfits magically -- that kind of stuff.

sounds like a great idea to me! watching videos on youtube is often a collaborative, social experience; so being able to watch vids with friends remotely seems like a terrific idea. next thing will be that we can leave comments in real time; they've been doing that on a Chines site for years, can't remember the name of it, though. read about it in Wired about 9 months ago. if i remember correctly, it's china's most popular social website.

concise. informative. i'd already spent about 2 hours trying out the framework before watching; otherwise this might have been a bit too much too quick. the alpha/omega classes caught my attention - i like how you made them into pop-out captions in the video.
