Maybe we don't need Facebook and Twitter as much as the former and latter seem to think we do, but surely you don't think all our social needs can be fulfilled with just email.

Re: Amusing the unamused

It was more of a whine, than anything else, but thanks for the kick in the butt. Of course, I heard this from Mashable, so I don't know if its true or not. Mashable is turning into one biased spin machine.

Re: [blog] primatage: An Ironic Reblog: Tumblarity

Did you know Evan Williams, the CEO of twitter is actually the creator of Blogger?

Re: [blog] primatage: Now in Seattle

Good Luck buddy! What about the kind of things I might accomplish, the successes and failures of my business, whom I'll fall in love with? Is that truly under my choice? I don't think so. Isn't it true, being in the right place at the right time is much more important than being smart and right?

Re: Amusing the unamused

I was trying to be witty and say "Can't I just simple blame luck for my love failures than take responsibility?" Clearly I failed...now I must commit "Sepaku."

Re: Amusing the unamused

Yea I read that somewhere too, but not entirely convinced that is the case. Personally I think it is because we need God to survive, just as much as God need us. It is comforting in moments of great uncertainty to know that there is someone other there, all powerful and can make all your problems go away and the only thing you have to do in return is ask him. Isn't that easier to accept than to think everything is just a crap shoot and our lives are mere random occurrences, in order words a series of random events sequenced together that gives the impression of cause and effect?
Personally I think so, but I don't think I can ever go back to just accepting that God exists anymore, damn Francis Bacon and scientific method...damn him! :)

Re: [blog] primatage: This is why I love DDR.

I hope you are alright Matt. :)

Re: Punch drunk love

I thought the best thing to do in those circumstances is hit the bottle...don't tell me I've been doing it wrong all these years. :)

Re: Stuck? I use RTM as well, however not as much. Linux has this simple, yet great to-do list manager called Tasque, which synchronizes with RTM. Usually before I go to bed, I make a list of things that I must get done by tomorrow, which is uploaded to RTM. The reminder function in RTM sends me an email at about 7am of the to-do list. I haven't tried out the google gears, however I might give it a go.

Re: Creating A Budget

One tip I've learnt is never buy an item unless you thought about it for 30 days. For example if I wanted new shoes, I put it on the 30 day waiting list and can't buy it till April 10th.

This cuts down on all impulse spending.

Warning: This tip does not apply to must have items, say for example food your son. You should probably buy that immediately.

Senthil

Senthil Nambis last blog post..Twipocalypse…NOT!
