But I think it's focussing on 'perfect' investors, rather than 'competant' ones. There are plenty out there who make slight to medium gains on say 50%+ of their investment I would say. This could even be through dividends rather than growth. Those professional investors who have access to timely macro data are in an advantageous position, and should proceed accordingly.
