Just finished Prey recently (you might have seen me mention it on my blog, and I'm sure I will again soon...) and it's definitely worth a dollar. Doom 3 engine, weird puzzles and stuff, and short enough not to feel too drug out. I liked Jade Empire a lot. I'll be playing through Lost Planet real soon... Of course I played the console versions of all of these, but none of them are bad PC ports to my knowledge. Almost bought Tomb Raider myself actually.

I think there's a good possibility that the soundcard, or at least EAX, might not work too well under Vista or 7 - might want to research it if you haven't already. I'm sure any of those video cards would perform well enough for you though I'd probably for for the 275 myself. I was thinking if upgrading my current system to one of those actually, even though my old faithful 8800GTS/512MB runs everything just fine, the GTX275 is still like twice as fast (technically.) Looking good so far.

http://eshop.macsales.com/i... - This one is an actual NAS appliance: Lets you RAID-1, acts as a network device/server, and has a web admin panel for setting it all up. No idea if its any good or not but it's only 25 bucks more than the original one. Doesn't have firewire though...

Hmm... I thought you wanted RAID-1? That enclosure says it only natively supports RIAD-0. Maybe it lets you configure it to see both disks as separate drives so that you can soft RAID them but that'd probably run like crap.

I might have been one of the people that mentioned this game to you, I don't recall, but I actually thoroughly enjoyed Conan. It's a competent God of War clone. I'm not really sure why the it got such awful reviews - it may be a little rough around the edges here and there but it's actually very solid for the most part. Plus... boobs!

Ha! I love this movie. It has it's share of flaws but it's my favorite Arthurian Legend film. I think it's probably the dark, moody tone of the film and the gritty, hardened look of the sets and costumes. The soundtrack is also quite good. It's true that the story does seem a bit fragmented but most Arthurian movies seem to try to focus on just particular parts of the story where as this one attempts to cram the whole thing into 140 minutes somehow. I'd probably give it more like 4/5 myself but that probably has a lot to do with being a big fan of the medieval and fantasy genres.
