My children attend a Waldorf school in Massachusetts, and today remains a happy festival for them which includes fun, games, dancing around the May Pole, and an overall appreciation of the time of the year.

Waldorf Education, founded by Rudolf Steiner in Germany during the Industrial Revolution, is a method of education that focuses on creativity and our relationship with the earth, seasons, and our spirit. Perhaps Treehugger should do a write-up on it to highlight that in the land of technology and fast paced kill-or-be killed attitudes, all is not lost, even in America.

Intelligent IPS/IDS/phishing/vulnscan functionality would be nice, maybe resident monitors for messaging apps (mail, fb, etc.) although it would probably end up chewing up battery pretty bad.

I've thought about the "naturally" thing, and it is the only thing that's different! Why it helps the ideas to be born, I will never be able to figure out.

And hope, yes, hope is a good thing, but because they don't yet know what they are up against out there in the real world, I would rather create in them a positive outlook on things that will allow them to handle what is waiting. Good stories with happy endings will certainly give them that. They will just have know that there are "bad guys" out there.
