But even if I was not hosting, I would still attend b/c the content is different every year since our content is driven by the personalities, questions and answers from the audience

Re: The Police| Rio de Janeiro | 16-Feb-82

The other thing about the Rio show. During "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic" Sting sings "E-O" in his English accent as the song trails off. To the crowd, Portuguese speaking crowd, less than 1% spoke Engligh, E-O sounded like RIO - which put the crowd in a frenzy, don't thing Sting even realized that he was speaking in Portuguese :)

Re: The Police| Rio de Janeiro | 16-Feb-82

What a great show!!! I was 17 years young. Can't believe you saved that concert ticket. That was my second concert in my life. I got the chance to see the Police two more times (1983 - their last tour before broke up) and Reunion tour (2009). The show in Rio was the best of the 3.

Re:

Great ones that stand out are: Congress. One that has lost its favor with me is Hudson's on the Bend :(
Admittely I am a Chuy's fan, not because of the authenticity of TexMex, but because of the value and consistency over the 29 years I have dined there. We should invite Sam Eder, my foodie that guides me to best and not so best dining in Austin and around the USA. Hope you are well.

Re: Austin Overrated: No, you should NOT eat at that Austin institution

Jodi, what about some higher end restaurants? So SM can be born out of a department and have the identity of SM for Marketing or SM for PR. For some companies it never grows beyond the maverick to next stage. Dell is the poster child for doing it right and evolving to a more distributed model.
Thanks for reading.

Re: Dell – a leader in Social Media Innovation

Dell did share that listening data is now shared across many different levels of the company and across multiple business units - so it is not just one team listening. Manish talked about one day everyone in the company tuning into listening, maybe similiar to email - everyone has it and uses it.
