The real problem with Morrow is he can't dribble. He's great at taking spot-up threes; as good as anyone in the league. But he can't get any more free throws because he can't drive the lane without the ball getting stolen. He's also not very quick. That being said, this trade is still great for him - he only has to beat out Quinton Ross for playing time, and he and Troy Murphy can commiserate about playing for Don Nelson.

I believe the 1998 pick was actually the immortal Keon Clark, not Vince Carter - the Warriors managed to convey one of their Gugliotta picks to Orlando that year to fulfill Webber-Penny obligations. Somehow that simultaneously makes Miller a less important yet more evocative figure in NBA history.

Feels like knee-jerk anti-Heat posting on this one. Miller's a good player, who shoots at a high percentage, and gets slightly overrated because his jump shot looks so nice. I think Bill Simmons has talked about how beautiful his jump shot is at least ten times over the years, five of those times in an extremely homoerotic manner.

What Miller does well: shoot threes (7th among active players) and score efficiently (5th among active players, just behind Steve Nash and weirdly, Eddy Curry). The guy who "perhaps was" a good shooter made 48% of his threes last year, second in the league, just behind Kyle Korver and ahead of probably the best fit for "minority Mike Miller," Jared Dudley.

There are broken-hearted eighth-grade girls who would be embarrassed to write this kind of thing about their ex-boyfriends. At the very least, they'd use fewer capital letters, quotation marks, and they'd pick a tougher font than Comic Sans. Seriously, was this letter faxed to reporters, or folded up into one of those cootie-catchers and shoved into the grate of a locker?

Sorry about your loss. No photos of the second Uruguay goal are available yet, but we'll put them up once they are. Feel free to send any photos of violent Dutch fouls our way. There's a lot of AP photos of the bicycle kick to the face mainly because it's a bicycle kick to the face, I think.

That table's actually wrong; Vazquez got a second-place vote, not a first. You can see that the first-place votes add up to 33, while second-place adds to only 31. Keith Law gave Javy the #2.

I think Gordon knew he was gone after last off-season. Even though the Bulls have a ton of talent, they don't seem interested/committed to taking that next step - whether that means trading aggressively, paying the luxury tax, or just not drafting 24-year-olds with first-round picks.
