Hi Ian. Thanks for this great solution, it is what I've been looking for.

However, any way to breakpoint at content detection vs. a fixed height? Can the bottom of the window detect that it's about to touch (or does touch) the bottom content and then change the breakpoint css?

This sounds tricker... but I'd need this vs. a fixed height value to trigger the breakpoint.

Hey Lance! The script is working great! Copies screenshot image to clipboard and pastes into any application!

However, I still find one caveat... that I use (1) Macbook Pro, and (1) 27" iMac as the second display. Taking screenshots on the retina display will paste as expected per the script at 50%. You can imagine the issue is when taking screenshots on the iMac the screenshot is reduced by 50% and is too small!

:) Maybe possible to use two different key commands for native screenshot vs. this new script. Unless you rockstars know a fix for that too.

Looks like Outlook mail body field will only paste the text, however if I paste into photoshop it pastes the actual screenshot! That is good. Here's the video https://www.dropbox.com/s/5...

Hey Lance, thanks for looking into it! I just tried the update and yes it is copying the path of the screenshot to my clipboard, any way to make it actually copy the image that has been screenshotted as a selection? I actually do not require to store the screenshot anywhere until I paste it from the clipboard.

This has been the closest solution yet that I found on the internet!

Hey Lance, having trouble with this. Followed all steps, I assign the key command, go to test it but it doesn't save the selection to my clipboard.

Srs epic illustrations! I like how he's spent so much detail on connecting the pieces, everything looks like one pass of art, not a collage or pasted together images. Very good stuff... would wear all of it!

I wonder if he does actual research into the meanings of the symbols & art he puts in?

tribhuvansuthar's piece is cool, but the reflection is wrong (upside down). The skull is disproportionate to the face as well. Couse use some extra work.

I work at 9am. I often can't fall asleep before 2am which sends me into a zombie state for the next day. Lately I'm finding myself sleeping during my lunch break instead of eating, now that will really help me get healthier! ;) It is the information I'm addicted to at night - non-stop consuming it on the computer until I am exhausted... I often wonder if this is normal for a human being in the year 2012, or if I am radically off scale. I'll have to assume this is normal, since I've been able to do it since I was a teenager and will probably continue to do it until I have children to take my time. I tried your meditation awhile back, it felt amazing. However I have not returned to trying it again since it required a state of calmness that I often have to fight with myself to deem necessary or useful. I am my own worst enemy.
