I love it! We did have some different view points. I didn't really think I would be a good fit with a parent blogger for a date either. I was more thinking some SEO genius that can teach me everything. LOL ;) I mean if I am going to put up with what I dish out then I need to at least gain something, right? J/K So true that dating a blogger could be tough.

Rob: I think when you are working together as a team on something it is completely different than having separate blogs, going after the same brands and sponsors. You are a team instead of a competition. Perfect way for two parent bloggers to be! I'd love to share some of my load with someone. :)

First I have to say I think it's hilarious that you can't find things in the fridge is they have been moved around. Your poor wife! I do understand the fact she doesn't want you near the dishes. I am pretty set in my ways when it comes to the dish washer. I'll let my daughter unload but hate for anyone to load it in a way I don't like, I'll redo it. LOL This was another fun week of topics. Can't wait to see what's next.

I love that you move stuff around just for your amusement of seeing him confused. That's hilarious! I never knew men had this problem, I'll have to pay more attention next time I'm around a man, maybe I'll visit a friend and move his food around in his fridge before leaving. LOL

If I get married I won't change my name. Not really because of branding but because I am a single mother and my children have my maiden last name. Even when I was married six years ago I still carried both names. I would be willing to hyphenate my name but the Perrin will always stay. I want to match my kids. Although branding is a very good point too. I just think I am branding myself as MommaDJane instead of my full name.

Great topic and lots of good points being discussed.

DeEtta: I completely understand your frustration. I have had to fix other people's fixes of my name all my life. My name is Dwan and everyone takes it upon themselves to 'fix' the typo that doesn't exist. They automatically read it and see Dawn. Just habit I guess. I have to spell it and pronounce it. I've gotten pretty good at just saying "like Swan with a D". However, I do love my name and wouldn't change it. It's just me. It has just become normal to hear people call me Dawn at times.

Wow don't we see differently on this topic? Pretty funny actually. I think we were complete opposites. It is nice to have different view points to shine the light on the subject. Great discussion going on this week too. I'm loving it!

Although my name came from a movie I can't say I was named after the actress. Matter of fact I don't even remember the actress' real name. My parents just heard the name Dwan and liked it. That is the same way I felt about the name Tapanga. I just really loved the name so went with it for my daughter. But in many ways I am glad it isn't popular, that's what makes her different. She is 12 now and doesn't hate it yet. I used to get frustrated with always correcting people with my name but I never wanted to change it. Maybe I'm weird, LOL. No comment needed on that either Buck :).

I love the branding topic of saving your child's name via domain. I heard that at the conference SITScation last month and think it's a great idea. Look at Ted Murphy still trying to buy tedmurphy.com. I'll be checking into that soon for mine.

Can't wait until next week to see what the discussion will be like. I'm enjoying this!
