Kris, I think about you and what you are going through every day. My mom said that once my grandmother passed, even the things that used to irritate her, she missed. And my MIL said the same thing after my FIL passed, she now has a new normal which will never be the same as what she thought normal was, but does become normal and ok. Time does have a way of healing, but we never forget. I'm always here if you need me!

The biggest reason all 4 of my kids have a phone is because I want to stay in touch with them and know where they are. I do hate the cost though. I'll have to check this out when our plans are up.

I'm curious why you believe that online influencers should be giving away all their knowledge and influence away for free? They didn't get that influence overnight. They worked very hard to cultivate a community and they give back to that community by sharing every day. If a brand wants to tap into that, they should be paying.

I don't have a problem if someone has a question or if a brand asks a question, that is part of networking and building relationships. If they want access to my audience, that is a completely different ball game.

As John Andrews wrote on Ted Rubin's blog http://bit.ly/LV3AsH, brands wouldn't expect Time Warner to give them free advertising. The brands are asking for access to Time Warner's audience which is exactly what brands are asking of online influencers.

What makes those two different?

I like that you suggested you let them make mistakes. I've found with my kids that when they mess up, they learn the most. I'd rather they make smaller mistakes when they are younger and in my house than when they have a family and mess up with money. Great suggestions.

LOL! Good thing we spell our names differently! :D So, what did they do if they couldn't stitch it up? I've read that spots like birthmarks can be high for melanoma and I have a large one on my arm, so I wondered what they would do if did become Melanoma.

So glad your personal story & your mother's were happy. Sorry for the 2 deaths. I found out after I had mine that my grandfather had Melanoma much like mine where it was caught early. My mom had forgotten about it. He's been dead for 25 years. So, this all definitely changes things for me. Thank you for sharing your story!

Keri! Yes, do go. That's what happened with me too. My family doctor didn't think it was anything and I went to the dermatologist because I was taking my teens there and figured what the heck. Better safe than sorry.

They are tons of fun. I never thought decorating with tape would be so much fun, but it was. And our favorite was the chair. It was a lot easier than painting the chair!!!

What concerns me more is that the PR person said they can overlook that and may end up working with that blogger????? Because they lied? A blogger says a brand endorsed them when they didn't is just plain lying. And if they are going to lie about that, what else are they lying about? Why would a brand want to then align themselves with someone who lies?

If someone wants to work with a brand, contact the brand, write about the brand, but don't start lying. I would rather be successful knowing I got there based on my writing and because I'm 100% transparent. I don't want shortcuts or lie to get to the top.

I missed it by 1 frigging pound and 2 days ago I was down 1lb, but when I went to do my final which in I didn't make it. I'm trying to not let it get me down, but it's hard!

I had 4 kids and I use the book through all 4 of my pregnancies. I wouldn't have survived them without it. I always buy that book for first time moms during their pregnancy.
