Since this article was published Imagen also offers skin smoothing with a click. Both of these tools (skin smoothing and subject mask) are applied as brushes in Lightroom. There are also settings inside of Imagen to control what edits are done with the subject mask and skin.

Imagen actually charges 5c a photo, not 6c. Imagen also offer discounts for those who go on an annual plan instead of a pay as you go plan.

Yes, It edits each photo individually unlike a standard Lightroom preset. If you opt for a Personal AI Profile then it edits like you every time. So if you lean towards a highly styled look, then it will do that for each photo you send through it. If you opt for a Talent AI Profile, you will receive the editing style from those profiles consistently every time. Each with their HSL's in place, and all the nitty gritty.

Hi Scott,

1. Yes, it works similar to the SmugMug publishing service based plugin. You'd create Collections and Collection sets in the Imagely publishing service just as you did for the SmugMug plugin.

2. Galleries are not automatically loaded to a page. You have to add galleries or albums to pages manually. But once they're on a page, any time you update from Lightroom your website would match.

For 2 years now I have been on a scanning project for my family. Thousands and thousands of photos. We have so many we wound up buying a bulk print scanner to do it ourselves. Now we've added VHS digitizing to the mix.

I was trying MailPoet for a couple weeks and it went well until they blocked my account for now reason. They blamed spam but less than 5 out of over 20,000 emails or so were marked as spam. So I went back to Mailchimp.

For those who this impacts, which are photographers running both WordPress and something else, it's huge savings in the long run. You can see how much you'd save by using this tool: imagely.com/comparison.

Two addition thoughts...

1. With Imagely, you can pay once and use the product forever. There is a Lifetime options. Which means you only pay for hosting your WordPress site every year.
2. This isn't for everyone of course. Some people will want to keep with what they have, and that's totally cool. But now there is an option for those who have been wanting what we created.

It’s obviously a personal preference. But I will point out that it’s attached to your camera so it doesn’t really add clutter for your bag :)

This is typically a problem if you use a general L bracket and not one specific for the camera. When it's designed for a specific camera, it should never block ports.

We have been using the plugin for years, since before Castos acquired it. I couldn't imagine doing The WordPress Photography Podcast without it. It's simple, clean, mean and it packs a punch. My only wish is for better Stats than what's provided currently.
