I'm not sure I could work without one. Especially good for those who need pinpoint precision but also have wrist issues (carpal tunnel, etc). I can do so much with just a small gesture of one finger.

Re: TableTap is going to set fire to Twitch tomorrow with the stream of one of this year's biggest digital board game releases | Feature

Ha, yeah I realized a bit later you probably meant Steampunk!

Re: TableTap is going to set fire to Twitch tomorrow with the stream of one of this year's biggest digital board game releases | Feature

Not cyberpunk at all.

Re: The Best Gaming Headset (for Most People)

Would have like to have seen the best on-ear pick as well. It lowers the initial friction in trying the game and allows casual/time-constrained players an opportunity to play as well.

As far as the F2P model "working," it's just a matter of execution. As we've seen recently retro-fitting subscription-based games has provided developers with challenges both large and small, with varying degrees of success. Given the long development time in the MMO space we may not see an MMO that really nails the F2P model and successfully caters to a wide range of player types for a couple of years.

The advantage of the current trend of retro-fitting is that not only is it breathing new life into some of these 2-4 year-old MMOs, but developers are able to try things out, gather feedback, tweak systems, and learn from the process so that down the line they can successfully put the best ideas into practice.

Re: Talker acquired by Teambox

Thanks for the clarification, Marc.

Re: Talker acquired by Teambox

I'm a bit confused. You've got the codebase and the subscription-based service. It's not clear from your post what exactly is happening to the service. Is ownership of that being transferred to Teambox or is it ending? When will will the transition take place?

Re: DailyJS: JavaScript Unit Testing

Have a look at Resig's Yahoo talk here for some more on JS testing:

http://developer.yahoo.com/...

You also might want to add YUI Test which John speaks highly of:

http://developer.yahoo.com/...

Re: DailyJS: JavaScript Template Library Benchmarks

It's curious that both EJS and PURE are missing.
