This camera uses standard 35mm film. Film and processing are available at most drugstores, Walmart, Costco, etc. Simple plastic cameras like this have recently become more popular along with a recent surge in the popularity of photography in general. I have seen prices on several similar models inflating rather rapidly in recent years, but the Pix Panorama seems to have been mostly immune to the price increases so far. I believe I have seen these listed for sale for about $10 in recent months.

Since I have rediscovered my Pix Panorama, I have really been enjoying it. While its lens isn't complex and is only made of plastic, I find that it takes fairly decent pictures. Also, you can reach inside the camera and pull the panoramic mask out if you want to use it for full-frame 35mm shots.

Moving to Detroit is something that, for most of us, would consume a ridiculous amount of energy and release far too much carbon into our atmosphere. I think we're better off just staying where we are.

The problem isn't 100% in Detroit, but Detroit does have issues. The recent talk of the hourly expenses of the various automakers shows that the unionized labor that the big 3 use is a serious expense, especially when it comes to benefits and retirement costs.
