Faulconer's wife owns a Company called Restraunt Events that organizes permitted "Expensive" to attend things like Street Scene. Of course he wants the only fun in town to be at events like this. It puts money in his checking account.

I hate these things! I was living on 4th and F St for over a year and they were such a hassle. If you're walking they won't take no for an answer and follow you for blocks and if you're driving they cut in and out of traffic like crazy.

Not to mention the property damage! I drive a MINI which when paralle parked only takes up, like half a downtown parking space. Constantly these guys would park in front of or behind my car while waiting for fares and I have so many scratches to enjoy now from them dragging there wide loads along my bumpers.

No RESPECT at ALL!

What a shame! Me and my girls will just have to go back to ogling the Rugby boys at Robb Field. We'll miss the International "Talent". Those guys were so darn HOT! Oh and skilled athletes, but mostly just really Sexy.

"Loan Officers" just renamed themselves "Loan Consultants". For the most part they have no actual Finance skills. They just know how to fill out Bank Paperwok. These are the same guys that 10 years ago all worked at Cell Phone kiosks in the Mall.

Are these guys jumping out of bushes or from behind cars? As a small 20-something woman I'm constantly on guard about random men lurking around or following me. How are these 'attempted" rapists getting so close to their targets?

This mother has lost a whole lot more than the Child Support payments due to her from this dead beat Dad. Could you imagine someone breaking in during the night and trying to hack you to death over money? I would feel so ashamed and guilty if my personal life ever caused the kind of pain that this innocent couple is going through.

My God this man is an animal. It sounds like she was doing everything right trying to keep some normalcy in her daughter's life by staying close to the non-custodial parent.

Please eveyone pray for the quick recovery of the 29 year old Boyfriend that is clinging to life after defending the life of his sleeping 21 year old girlfriend from this attempted murderer.

SDPD does actually enforce and ticket bicyclists, or at least they did when I went to Challenger Middle School back in the early 90's. I ran a stop sign when I was 12, was stopped, ticketed, fined, and had to go to bike traffic school at Juvenile Hall. It was scary and mortifying, but I never did it again.

Come to think of it... I live in PB now and I've seen drunk bicyclists get BUI's, or whatever they're called, a couple of times. Of course people Drink-and-Bike like crazy in PB so obviously they need to ticket much more.

Wow OBL's comment is quite a jump. I had to scroll back up to make sure I was still on the same article.

I'm pretty certain this guy is just an opportunistic robber who saw a soft target and went for it. I haven't seen anyone in that Sunglass Hut in F-O-R-E-V-E-R. (Sandlot) He probably got away with all of $15.

My Mom's an Optician and her office was robbed about 6 months ago. No one pays cash for sunglasses! They went straight for the Fendis and the Diors. Oddly enough not the Calvin Kliens.

I actually just flew First Class United Airlines from Chicago to San Diego and First Class wasn't full so they upgraded 4 Marines to the empty seats. It was great! They were all drinking champagne and Heinekins like water. I hope they were all over 21 cause they looked real young. :)

Number 1 I so want to steal all of those books and return them for the money... And

Number 2 SignOnSanDiego rarely has pictures to go along with their stories, even when its something like a rapist on the loose. I can just imagine some intrepid, Jimmy (Superman) or Peter Parker-esque, photographer rushing out to capture an image of this BIG story.
