I've been forced into a kind-of segmented sleep because of my night shift work. A potpourri of strange dreams have flooded my head because of it, but I have had a fairly relaxed mood to my late-night work.

When I was a young teenager, I had an older friend who was successful, charming, and looked like a twin brother of Bon-Jovi. At the time, I couldn't be more jealous of a person... to me, he had everything a young man could ask for. After he took his life, I went through a huge emotional roller-coaster that lasted for years. In the end, I felt helpless, but I defended him because he was sick. Mental illness is too often cast aside. Much too often.

I'm more on track with Edward on the hypothetical... it would be at least another 9-10 years until the hormones arrive enough for carnal knowledge, but I would be more into investing in technology and the stock market. And I would buy a shit-ton of comic books and collectibles.

Besides, the girls I liked when I was young... I know what they are like now. Not interested.

After seeing relatives go through Alzheimer's Disease, I would consider making a video diary to my family and opting out of the procedure. This would ensure that I was remembered for who I was... if I was to go through with the procedure, I would live a long life of frustration and my family would remember me as a different person. It sounds like a sad choice, but it would be the happier one for me.

I say this as a father and as a person who has reached a point in his life where his family will be cared for without worry of money or love.

(EDIT: I took out my hypothetical... but if you want to hear it, I'll put it on G+)
