- My ten year old, son, Connor died from a heart attack related to leukemia. When Connor died so did my belief in a personal god. Now I trudge through life, grieving the monumental loss of my son, wondering why I shouldn't kill myself. How can I believe in a personal god; because if there is a personal god, then he let my son's own blood poison him, causing him to suffer for months and then die? -- and this only represents the millions upon millions of children who have ever suffered, egregiously, only to die.
