There should have been an <integer>1</integer> when you open the file. Sounds like you may have changed the wrong thing and its causing an issue.

iOS 4.3.3, updated the proper file via iFile and restarted. Facebook app loads and shows the full iPad screen (cool!), but the login does not work. "Unable to connect to Facebook. Please try again later.".

Possible that FB is blocking connections now?

Both app and service have large amounts of potential. I don't use apps/services based on potential though.

So, when this merger happens... Apple, Google, Microsoft, Motorola, HTC, RIM (*ahem*) et al, will freeze all R&D and not lean on the likes of AT&T and VZW to push forward? Just an observation, but Apple dropped a bomb (the iPhone) on AT&T's network a few years ago and forced them into a network cleanup mode as well as a wifi build out to ease traffic. What Hesse and many are suggesting is that the carriers are the sole decision in what happens, and that is far from accurate.

Do the carriers account for innovation in the mobile space, absolutely, but certainly not the ratio that many would like the masses to believe.

Then our testing results are vastly different. My real world usage of both models supports my testing. The iPad 2 has proven better performance in the majority of uses and OS interactions. Try a GoTo Meeting screen share on both models and tell me the iPad 1 is better in performance.

As a heavy traveler, the feature that made it for me was the mirroring to HDMI. It also didn't hurt that selling my used iPad 1 and buying the new model was at a cost of $75.

The iPad 2 Camera could have been 12MP and I would still not use it. It was the furthest feature from consideration.
