Maybe it's just a matter of experimenting with different forms (someone suggested tissue paper I think)?

Re: Tyler Davidson - Thesis Decision-making Criteria List Draft 2

Yayyy you spelled my name right!!

Re: Alternate Low-fidelity Prototype | Create + Learn + Interact

Something I think is especially interesting about this idea is that it flips the red-notification dot problem on its head; currently those badges all over our apps (can you tell I hate them?) exploit our psychological need to check for new information, even though 99% percent of the time (it feels like at least), said information turns out to be trivial and not worth our attention at that moment. I think it's really cool that you're using that an already familiar form-factor (a small badge with a number on it) in order to encourage the OPPOSITE behavior, i.e. convincing someone they don't need to check their phone right now. I'm actually really curious to find out if this would change people's behavior...you should test it, even in its low-fidelity state!

Re: Don’t overthink it. — nevver: Waiting Hey Brynn!

Nooo this already exists?!
