It all works except it's throwing undefined method `search' for ["http://rubygems.org/"]:Array when using script/generate migration.

I was initially having problems getting taps to work. In the end I upgraded my thin gem to the latest version (1.2.7 from 1.0.0) and it all worked. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else experienced the same problem.

The last command needs to have the version number specified:

sudo update_rubygems --version=1.2.0

Totally agree. It was what we found that worked at the time. Since then, we've been able to leverage pickle to remove the redirection and just verify the page we're at:
