This is the lamest social network I've ever seen. Wow you can see what music your friends like, comment on music, and buy it. So groundbreaking.

Oh wait, my bad, I forgot it has Apple's name on it so it must be good.

It's funny you're just reviewing this now. I've seen the ads for years too and have always been skeptical, but with no landline and only sub-par cell service at my house, I finalyl decided it was worth a try. All other VoIP services are so expensive, on par with regular phone service, they just seem like a waste of money - why not just get a real phone so you don't have to depend on the internet to be working to make or receive calls?

So I decided to get this, just a few weeks ago. It's so cheap I figured, if it sucks, oh well that's $40, which is just 1 or 2 months of any other VoIP service.

I must say I'm pleasantly surprised by how well it works and how good the quality is. Especially for the price. i was expecting totally sub-par quality all around (both in terms of call quality, but also software) but it seems pretty rock solid. I'm fairly happy with it and I still can't believe it's as cheap as it is. $20 per year is just ridiculous.

Yeah I'm sure Google's got mad planz behind the scenes. My post was more about the silly fanboy reaction to this phone.
