Mine was a nice golden colour. I think this comes from the natural winemaking process and not oxidation.

What did you think of the wine?

The $24.99? Tell me about it... don't even get me started on how much of a rip-off our archaic liquor laws are here in BC. It'll be interesting to see how the folks who travel to Vancouver for the winter Olympics react to the outrageous mark-ups on booze here.

Yep, I should mention that because we were at the Wine Bloggers' Conference, we were given a 50% discount on the wine. That made this a killer $60 USD bottle of Zin.

Thanks Shea. It was a lot of fun to hear what they had to say. I'm surprised that at a Fest of this size, there aren't more wine folks using this method to communicate with their customers.

I would guess that it, for lack of a better word, rocks. I love a wine with personality... and if this was any indication, Thackrey wines have all that and a bag of chips.
