I would love to go again!

Re: http://squatchy.tumblr.com/post/377199881

Mary, in response to your question: yes, the cuteness is almost too much to bear at times. And their tag team dining duo is a refined practice these days. Squatchy has learned that feeding time for Maggie really means grazing time for him.

Re: http://squatchy.tumblr.com/post/362606332

Thanks, Penny! She has a very generous benefactor to keep her stylishly outfitted ;)

Re: She's got personality.

She loves the weiner dog outfit and is wearing it right now as a matter of fact. Awww...she's wearing Zane's old clothes. Too cute. We'll have to embarrass them with that when they're older. Love it!

And you are too nice. Your little man is so sweet. I cannot wait to see his personality emerge, too. Love your blog, too, Karen! Keep up the good work.

Re: She's got personality.

Hi, Penny! It makes me smile that you know our writing styles (and this blog) so well that you can tell who is posting. Maggie *is* growing up so fast. I wish you lived closer so you could observe firsthand her developing personality. She's definitely a charmer. Today in the grocery store a clerk walking by commented on her great smile and an older woman shopping in the store declared Maggie to be "the cutest thing."

I will attempt to record her shrieks for you. Rather, I'll leave that to Brad since I'll likely be preoccupied with trying to get the shrieks to stop.

We're trying to stay warm...dry is a little more difficult. It has rained every day for at least the last two weeks. I hope your basements dry out soon. At least you had some pretty snow to look at before all the sogginess.

Annie

Re: The Maggie Chronicles

I very much wish we could make it out to Boston during Thanksgiving :) I promise we'll find a way soon! 2010?

Re: The Maggie Chronicles

Penny, thank you for the awesome outfit that Maggie is wearing with the matching booties. She's gotten many compliments about it :)

Re: The Brannie Chronicles

Thanks, Rebecca. Yeah, the face on pictures are totally eerie. Makes me feel like I'm merely a host for some other life form that is being created in my belly - something not quite human. I'm not planning on getting a 3rd or 4th ultrasound unless my doctor makes me. I actually find it a bit invasive, even though all the research says there are no negative effects for the baby or mom. However, every time I've gotten one, I end up with a big headache afterward and am exhausted.

Old Navy Maternity and I have become fast friends. And, yes, I do have a pair of maternity sweats. I basically have four pairs of pants I comfortably fit in now and I just rotate through them. I'll be happy when it finally warms up and I can wear skirts again. We've gotten a cold snap and it's been tough to bundle up when your middle is jutting out like that.

Sorry about documenting the aches and pains. I find there's a fair bit of post-pregnancy amnesia out there with mothers and I don't want to forget what this experience was actually like. I was given the tip to use either papaya enzymes or liquid calcium magnesium to help with the heartburn. I haven't tried either yet, but I'll let you know how it goes. Good luck with baby #2!!

Re: The Brannie Chronicles

Hi Penny,

We definitely are partial to literary-influenced names, so please keep the ideas coming! I do like the name Branwyn (totally Brontë-esque), but my parents would have a hard time pronouncing that one.

I will keep posting photos. My sister suggested I do some basement remodel blogging, too, so I'll put those pictures up soon.

Thanks for checking out the blog!

Re: The Brannie Chronicles

Thanks to my friend, Adam, you can now leave comments!
