i really like emma/scott. it sounds silly, as you put it before that their relationship could work, but if you read Astonishing Xmen - Here Comes Tomorrow, it has this really tender ending between the two of them where scott is standing at jean's grave, and emma is like:

"are you going to come with me and save the world some more, or are you going to sit here and cry over your crazy, dead, cosmic entity g/f that is too good for you anyway?"

they need each other.

even though it sucks about the soul-selling, i think that this just helps sarah palin look like an idiot on national TV. not someone that should be in the white house. but at the same time when NPR asked people at the old folks home in MN. what they thought about the VP debates, they were so happy about how 'personable' she is. coming through with that straight talk people want about moose.

all i could do during this episode was think about the wedding dress that got completely discarded last season. IT"S BAAAACK. but really, i was most surprised by the designers' complete misunderstanding of what a wedding dress is supposed to look like. as in, they seemed to want to make them hideous on purpose. granted, living in ohio, i have never seen a good looking wedding dress that wasn't on television, so maybe they have not either? where was Kurto's Wedding Mu mu? I am so upset.

ps. i want there to be a scene at the end of this season with Krazy taking her secret assignment from a shadowy middle aged woman figure in glasses and a baseball cap.

i am also kind of fed up with ANTM. the Jade vid. you posted made me miss the original production style of the series. before tyra exploded and had to be in every scene (if only in a small gold bubble). the girls they're getting now are too soft. they need a house fully of crazy fierce bitches that want to fight to the top. instead, they got a bunch of rich white girls, and that racist cn'try ho from alaska. ::Sigh::

this season also makes me disturbed/upset. i'd rather they put a camera in kent state's fashion studio. there should have been some kind of top model/runway crossover episode. (which i think they actually did with runway/model Canada).

it might not be the walk. though, i remember something kind of odd about it. (probably the duck thing). i've been doing an observational study of walks lately, however. The more butch a man is, the more he moves his shoulders when he walks. almost like he were digging his way toward something. the more gay the man, the more he walks with his upper body poised and stiff. as though ready to pull of some kind of dynamic pose. [Couture!]

i missed it ::SOBS:: for some reason i spent all of yesterday watching reruns of "what not to wear" and feeling bad about getting fired. anyway. hopefully the cw will have this up on their site soon...
