As the technology goes right now, these small sensor cameras simply cannot produce noise-free (or low noise) images at anything above 400 - maybe 800. In any case, the G9/G10/G11 are indeed excellent point-n-shoots. Although I am a pro Nikon shooter, I always preferred the Canon point-n-shoots. I am a very satisfied owner of a Canon G10.

The only time I buy ringtones is when they are RINGTONES, not music clippings (which I find extremely annoying, anyway). I like ringtones that sound like the sound a phone should make to alert me - preferable some higher frequency tone that comes through loud an clear. Yes, I could record something myself, but I am willing to pay a couple of bucks for the convenience.

On Greg Stepp's segment. The D70 does not take advantage of Nikons Creative Lighting System (CLS). CLS came in later on, and of course, the D90 does take advantage of it. This is the reason the D70 on-board flash in Commander mode was not working properly and it's light was affecting the picture.

Aside from Victor's and Verpoorten's shows, I have gotten word of great new apps from The Unofficial Apple Weblog- TUAW.com (tend towards the more technical utilities, which I love geeking out on), and MacWorld.com. I have been a long-time pro member of VersionTracker for my updates via their client app which knows about all the apps I have on all my machines. I also opted to get an email from them when any of my apps are updated, and I use their search engine to look for apps that do specific things ... Sandro

I've been using Safari for years, and Firefox only on the rare occasions that a site didn't support Safari. Are there any compelling reasons to cross-grade to Firefox 3?
