I don't think it'll turn out that way. I'm hoping the four of them have enough sense to keep that from happening. And, if you haven't noticed, Jon's in this too. I don't understand why Ryan's the one always getting the credit. In my eyes, Jon actually has the most sense out of all of them. He and Ryan had their reasons for leaving.

And, really, I don't see how they could truly "compete against" each other when their styles are now so different. I'm not a big fan of "New Perspective," but I really like the direction The Young Veins is going, musically.

I find that slightly contradictory to what you said above. I'm not saying that music is passion, I'm merely saying that you can see or hear the passion IN the music. When you say that it's "fucking passionate" for a guy to be singing about his girlfriend, isn't that also music in which you can see someone's passion? When you say that Gabe's "lost his passion over the years," I agree with that in the sense that over time, his music no longer reflects passion, but I'm also saying that that still doesn't mean he no longer has passion within him. It's simply not in the music.
And it's obvious that Gabe's still passionate. He may be passionate about something completely pointless and wrong, but that's still passion, even if you look down on it. And hey, he seems pretty passionate about defending his stance. I'll give him credit for that.

I very much agree with you. I don't hate Gabe, but really, I can't find that passion in his music, either. I think that's why Cobra isn't my favorite band. I love them and the people they are, and their music sounds amazing and everything, but it's lacking that feeling, that emotion and that passion. And I'm sure Gabe has some passion in him, but I think incorporating that into the music could take it a whole step forward.
Yet I really don't think a person's passion, or the person himself, or the band they're in, should at all be judged by said person's musical taste.

If the wolves really pick their own prey, which I'm not saying I doubt, I'm not too sure what to think of said wolves. I mean, personally, I'm incredibly indifferent to The Millionaires, but in my opinion there are loads of other bands or artists out there that could apply to a lot of the shit most people have associated them with. People pick out specifics to talk down about while really there's a broad range of garbage out there. A lot of it is based off of personal opinion, but while that may be true, there are talentless musicians swarming everywhere. The pool of prey or the wolves, I guess, is actually pretty limited. And there's good and bad for the wolves to pick out, but maybe this is just what happens when the supply of good diminishes? Or is it when the concentration of bad grow to be too large?
