True when you have to do stuff manually or have bad tooling. The gofmt tool for Go does tabular alignment just fine without any of the problems mentioned.

Nice post. Personally, I've moved on to Elm - which actually has a kickass implementation of Brett Victor's time traveler debugger - http://elm-lang.org/blog/ti.... The concepts and architecture in Elm make a whole class of problems disappear and I'm thoroughly enjoying myself.
