By doing that they will gain trust and help users from being a victim of such cracks...<br>Just because people are not aware and companies are not honest doesn't mean it shouldn't be a big deal for Bangladesh. Companies shouldn't take advantage of the innocence of our county's people!<br>Like BTRC, also the EU has rules of storing every keystroke for 6 months but that is backed up by the Government and is a matter of National Security. Breach into something like that will protect the users at a National Level. If companies like GP really want the best for their users, they will take such things seriously. আমার মতামত প্রকাশ করেছি। আমি কোনভাবেই বাংলাদেশ প্রেক্ষাপট বিবেচনা না করে সম্পূর্ণ নিজের একটি উন্নত মানের সেট ব্যবহারের অভিজ্ঞতা দিয়ে ব্লগের মাধ্যমে সাধারণ মানুষকে বিভ্রান্ত করছি না। আমি যা লিখেছি তা নতুন কিছু নয়, জি.পি. এর এই কো-ব্র্যান্ডিং এর আগে থেকেই ওপেরা নিয়ে এই দুশচিন্তা মানুষ এর এবং আমিও এ ব্যাপারে এর আগে লিখেছি। পণ্য বাজারে চলবে তা ঠিকই বলেছেন কিন্তু আমাদের দেশ এর সাধারণ জনগণ এর কাছে শুধু ভালো দিকটা তুলে ধরে খারাপটা লুকিয়ে "মিসলিড" করে পণ্য বিক্রি করাটাও সমীচীন মনে হয় না...</p><p>আমি যে টেস্টের ছবি দিয়েছি তা আইফোন এর হলেও, ওপেরা যে নিচু মান এর "bitmap" রেন্ডারিং করে তা সকল সেট এর জন্য প্রযোজ্য। আপনি যেকোনো নকিয়া বা চাইনিজ সেট এর সাথে কম্পেয়ার করে দেখতে পারেন। আর আইফোনে কোনো বাংলা ফন্ট নেই, শুধুমাত্র সম্পূর্ণ কমপ্লেক্স স্ক্রিপ্ট উনিকোড এর সাপোর্ট আছে যার ফলে বাংলা সহ যেকোনো ভাষাই রেন্ডার করতে পারে... এমনকি এখন সব নতুন সেট যার ওয়েব-কিট বেজড নেটিভ ব্রাউজার, সব পারে বাংলা রেন্ডার করতে, তার মধ্যে আছে নকিয়া সেটও। কিছু সেটের জন্য অবশ্যই ওপেরা ছাড়া কোনো উপায় নেই, তবে সেইসব পুরনো সেটে অবশ্যই "হেভি-ডিউটি" কোনো কাজ কেউ করে না। আপনি ব্যাপারটি এড়িয়ে যাবেন না, আমি পোস্ট এর প্রথমেই বলেছি যে সাধারণ সাইট ব্যবহারে কোনো সমস্যা নেই, শুধুমাত্র ব্যবহারকারীদের সতর্ক থাকা উচিত যখন ডাটা-সেনসিটিভ কিছু করছে।</p><p>কম্প্রেশন নিয়ে আমি শুধু সাধারণ ব্রাউজার এবং ওপেরা এর কম্প্রেশনের পর মান নিয়ে তুলনা করেছি কারণ সাধারণ ইউজার এর কাছে প্রজক্তিগত দিকের চেয়ে ফলাফল বড়। পেইজ দেখে কিছু পড়া যাচ্ছে কিনা, তা দেখেই বিবেচনা করবে এটা ব্যবহার করা সম্ভব কিনা... তাছাড়া আমি যেসব পয়েন্ট উল্লেখ করেছি, সেসব বিবেচনা করেও অনেকে ওপেরা তাদের ব্রাউজিং এ ব্যবহার করবে কিনা চিন্তা করতে পারে...</p><p>খরচ এর কথা আমি বলেছি ওপেরা দিয়ে রেন্ডার করা সাইট এর মান দেখেই। কেউ নতুন শার্ট ১০০ টাকা দিয়ে পর্বে নাকি ৮০ টাকা দিয়ে ডিফেক্ট শার্ট পর্বে, তা সম্পূর্ণ বেক্তিগত ব্যাপার... নিজের অভিজ্ঞতা থেকেই বলছি, ওপেরা দিয়ে মানুষ এর ব্রাউজিং এক্সপেরিয়ান্স ইমপ্রুভ করা যায় না... যারা ব্যবহার করে তাদের হয়ত কোনো বিকল্প নেই, কিন্তু তার মানে এই না, সবাই তা ইচ্ছা করে ব্যবহার করে।</p><p>নিরাপত্তার যে কথা বলেছেন, খুবই ইম্পর্টান্ট, আমার লোকাল ISP তথ্য সংরক্ষণ যদি করে এবং তা যদি না জানিয়ে করে, অবস্যই তা অবৈধ এবং বড় ধরনের প্রতারণা... কিন্তু এই জাতীয় কিছু থেকে ইউজারদের জন্য বিশ্বব্যাপী বিভিন্ন আইন রয়েছে। আমাদের দেশে এসব আইন থাকুক বা না থাকুক, জি.পি. এর মত বড় বড় কোম্পানিগুলোর এগিয়ে আসতে হবে সঠিক রাস্তায়। আমি জানি না জি.পি. এর কাছে "এভরি ইউজার কাউন্টস" কথাটির মুল্য কেমন, তবে জি.পি. যে তাদের নিজেদের ডাটা কম্প্রেশন এবং অপটিমায়জেসন করে, ঠিক এই কারণেই আমার পরিচিত অনেকেই জি.পি. ইন্টারনেট ব্যবহার করে না, এবং আমিও করবনা। এই ব্যাপারে নিচে আরো বেশ কিছু যুক্তিসঙ্গত কমেন্টস কয়েছে... আর ওপেরা এর মূল সমস্যা নিরাপত্তা, তাই আমার এই পোস্ট যেভাবে খুঁজে পেয়েছেন, নিশ্চয় আরো অনেক ডিটেইল্ড লেখা পাবেন... এই বিষয়ে অনেক রিসার্চ হচ্ছে, অনেক বিশেষজ্ঞ তাদের মতামত দিচ্ছে...</p><p>স্পিড এর ব্যাপারে আমি আবার বলছি, আমি বেশ কিছু সেটের সঙ্গে কম্পেয়ার করেই বলেছি... আমি একই ইন্টারনেট লাইনে সাধারণ ব্রাউজার এবং ওপেরা দিয়ে টেস্ট করেছি। এবং আমাকে ভুল বুঝবেন না, আমি বাংলাদেশেও বিভিন্ন সেট দিয়ে ব্যবহার করে দেখেছি... ওপেরা নতুন কিছু নয়, ২০০৪ থেকে ব্যবহার করে দেখেছি, তখন আমার নকিয়া ৩১০০ যদি নেটিভ ব্রাউজার দিয়ে একটি পেইজ ওপেরা এর চেয়ে ভালো রেন্ডার করতে পারত, আমি বলব এখনকার চাইনিজ সেট তার চেয়ে ভালো পারবে... ২০০৭ এ নকিয়া এন-৮০ দিয়েও অনেক টেস্ট করে দেখেছি... স্পিড এর যে ব্যবধান তা রেন্ডারিং মান এর চেয়ে নগন্য। তাছাড়া জি.পি. ইন্টারনেট এর যে নিম্ন স্পিড, একটি পেইজ লোড হতে দুর্ভাগ্যজনক ভাবে, নেটিভ ও ওপেরা, দুটোতেই অপেক্ষা করাটা কষ্টকর।</p><p>টেলেনর তো গ্রামীণফোন এর মাদার-কোম্পানি তাই এটাই স্বাভাবিক যে তাদের ক্যাম্পেইন বাংলাদেশে এক্সট্যান্ড করবে। আপনি পড়েই দেখুন, আপনাদের এই ক্যাম্পেইন ভালো না খারাপ, তা নিয়ে কিন্তু আমার এই লেখা নয়, আমি এই ইম্পর্টেন্ট পয়েন্টগুলো তুলে ধরতে চেয়েছি মাত্র। এই ক্যাম্পেইন এর ফলে যদি আমাদের দেশ এর মানুষ ইন্টারনেট আরো বেশি ব্যবহার করে, অবশ্যই তা একটি সুখবর... কিন্তু আমাদের দেশ গরিব, এখনো অনেক পিছিয়ে, এই কথা চিন্তা করে গ্রামীণফোন এর মত বড় বড় কোম্পানি যদি সুযোগ নেয় সাধারণ আম জনতার উপর, তা নিশ্চয় সমীচীন নয়।</p><p>গত এক যুগ ধরে ওপেরা সবার জন্য ফ্রি একটি ব্রাউজার। এর অনেক ভালো দিক থাকলেও কিছু খারাপ দিক আছে, এবং এটা নতুন কিছু নয়, আমার এই পোস্ট এর চেয়ে অনেক ডিটেইল্ড পোস্ট পাবেন। আপনার প্রত্যাশা "গ্রামীণফোন এতে আবার চার্জ না আরোপ করে" মনে হয় না storing data with proxy and your local ISP using proxy. local ISPs use proxy to cache common files which doesn't mean everything is being stored. but in case of Opera in order for its compression to work, they have to not only cache but their servers have to use the compression algorithm for every network request. so each keystroke is being saved. the main problem is also the transfer. sites
