For me in Q10, e.stop() results in:
stop A stop!
stop C stop!

Since it's inheriting from B,C and doesn't override anything, wouldn't calling e.stop() call C's stop method which calls a's method and then prints itself. This is exactly what python 2.6.5 prints for me. Is there a a difference between 2.6 and 2.7 for this ?

PS: Yeah Tatas are Parsi. The estimated dates for the Parsi's moving to India are around the 9th or 10th century AD so I guess after 1000 years in a country you would still be a foreigner right ?

Now how about a device with a detachable display that uses widi or something similar for the display signal. Laptop and tablet, all in one. No processing in the display, just a battery, touchscreen and an i/o signal unit.

No functionality ??? oh please.. the only reason symbian fell from its throne was because it lacked form, not function. My 4 year old N82 can still do EVERYTHING my android 4.0 running nexus one does today(and totally leaves it to dust in the camera department), albeit in a much less "pretty" way..

I haven't used any of the new symbian releases so I can't comment on them but looking at a few videos I've seen, it runs smooth. But the symbian name has been tarnished and it's safe to say that nothing short of a PR miracle can bring symbian back on top. (and now with MSFT perched on top of nokia, theres no way this will ever happen)

As far as smooth video goes, i've been using a nexus one for the past 2 yrs and I have never experienced jerky video other than maybe when its flash video on the browser(works really well most of the time, it's something you really miss on other devices) and I have a ton of apps running simultaneously. I can't comment on the quality of other phones. Going by my experience, Google branded android phones should have no such issues. The OS is literally built for these phones.

iOS and WP7 are sandboxed environments unlike android which can be made to run on any hardware as long as you have the drivers for it, so a smooth interface is more of a requirement than a good to have feature. Looking at iOS 4 run on an ipod touch 2g, apple clearly dropped the ball on that requirement. This is a pretty big deal considering iOS works only on a total of 5 iphones, 2 ipads and 4 ipod touches.

Also, only now can the base spec required to run WP7 be considered mid range, till a while back it was pretty high end.

if you hate it so much, why'd you buy it ? Considering you have an Inspire 4G, i guess its safe to assume you're in the united states and i bet the iphone's and inspire's prices are within a 100$ of each other. So you can't play the price card.

I dont understand the Blackberry Messenger argument. How is it dfferent from GoogleTalk ? Except for the PINs instead of usernames and getting a new PIN everytime something happens to your phone and then adding people all over again. GoogleTalk is way simpler, you have a proper name on it and you dont lose your contacts.

75% of the iphone 4's i've seen have a shattered screen or back..
