I too do love xmonad and dmenu! I will use them if/when I use a real
desktop system. On a laptop, I need the bells and whistles of a full
desktop environment. Also, I am digging the new GNOME. :-)

There is hope yet, I believe: Copperhead mailing list activity is more recent than the last commit log, and it sounds like Bryan has been trying to budget time for this. I hope nVidia would officially "bless" this project at some point, just like they adopted Thrust as part of their SDK release.

You mean to say that “Anna Hazzare” is BJP’s president candidate. Even if it is like that there is no problem. Ann Hazzare is a proved Gandhiyan and he do not want your certificate.

Now tell me Mr.Diggi. Who is your candidate??? I guess “Ajmal Ameer Kazab” to prove good relation with Pak & for the appeasement of Minority. It will be more horrible if you are the candidate.

You are worried too much about the attack in Saudi and want to curb the crime from the beginning. Obviously it should be condemned. But when terrorist attack and kill India on a daily basis, you do not have shed a single eye drop. How's this going? Are thy bum and the saddle best of buddies now? :-)

I had a wonderful summer thanks to my two-wheeled friend, found in a closing-down sale for $25. (Though locks, helmet and university parking permit cost more than that...) I have learned how to ride, but I never have owned a bike before. Some of my favourite memories are riding a bicycle all over Hampi. For many years I was sore at my parents for never buying me a bike when I was a school-going boy. I kinda-sorta kept planning to buy one when I was living in Bangalore, but the traffic always scared the bejesus out of me.

All is forgiven now, though I can't help but think I have missed much all those years. I have a car also now, but bikes are just so much more joyful.

Some years back, in Bangalore, a German colleague and I were riding an autorikshaw, MG Road whereabouts.

"Where's the city square?", asked he.

"The city square? Umm, how about this?," said I.

I don't know if he attained enlightenment upon hearing that.

My biggest regret after leaving Bangalore is that I didn't pick up a decent level of comfort with conversational Kannada, even after all those years. (My best buddy did this in six moths, and keeps ridiculing me for my failure. But then she has her way with languages -- she can handle six.) A language is an asset, and a wonderful way of connecting with people around you. I suggest that you try and live like a local. :-)

Secondly, a casual visitor to this blog will have a hard time figuring out what this post is all about. There's no mention of the new job and relocation. Granted, this is a rough draft, but still... (What, there are no casual visitors?)
