People in Colorado (and the other legal-ish states) are closer to being free than people in states that haven't legalized marijuana. That's the only thing that really matters. Tax money is a bonus. Everything else is a bonus. Any of the minimal downsides are just par for the course.

Alcohol is FAR more dangerous than marijuana, and no one seems to have a problem with that. Where I live, you can get booze EVERYWHERE. In country parks? Yep. Right by the playground! No one gives a crap. Craft fair? Well, OF COURSE we have to serve booze at that. At 9 am.

Things to keep in mind for people who don't like it: it's only been a few years. Marijuana prohibition started 80 years ago. So, yeah, people are excited. Give them a break. At least they're not being drunk and obnoxious! :)

I don't agree that with a lot of this, but I'm glad it's posted. This is the viewpoint a lot of people would have if they had more facts.

Weed does not ACTUALLY smell like skunk. That's ridiculous. Pig farms are the worst smell I can think of, and no one wants to go making bacon illegal. I drive past an area in my city where you can smell the wastewater treatment plant AND a slaughterhouse for MILES, depending on the wind. Sometimes, smells are part of life. Get over it.

People in this country drink themselves stupid all over the place, and their conversations are far worse than most stoners.

I'm glad vegan iPhone apps are starting to pop up, and this one looks like it'd be awesome. I bought it, but I already know that my city (Milwaukee) has 0 vegan restaurants, and a handful or two of vegan-friendly places around town, but nothing that I can't keep track of. It's still a great app, and it'll be useful for me if I travel at some point.
