hi hypocrisy is personal (although demonstrated, in the WSJ Op-Ed, in the context of US policy) in the sense that he PERSONALLY has allegedly profited, and continues to profit, from investment in a successful Chinese company that has a long and rich history of both censorship and flagrant IP violations, while simultaneously decrying these as "cheating" and "unfair" and "illegal" etc. Romney has not "profited from US policy," but from the flagrant violation of IP. And, by the way, these issues are already a central part of US policy.

Had no idea that Tianjin's footprint was so significant, in relation to Beijing. Possibly has a bit to do with the angle of the image... but still surprising.

I would totally pay for extra services if they gave the twitter experience more personal value. The following/followers numbers seem irrelevant, really -- in fact, I am guilty of failing to follow-back people whom I REALLY should be following back. This is a key area in which Twitter could innovate within their own platform.

...and maybe twitter could actually find a way to drive people back to their web interface, which I haven't even seen in months!

On a side note... since when are you blogging again?!!? I didn't even notice... and this is a great post. Clearly struck a twerve :)
