No one at all likes their music or cares about them in any way! Thanks for your valuable contribution to the discourse on this website.

Re: Gridlink’s Final Album, Longhena, Has a Release Date!!!

THANK YOU FOR THIS!

Re: Exclusive Video Premiere: Sandrider, “Gorgon”

Sandrider are a true PNW treasure. I'm usually more of a black/death metal fan myself, but they just rip. Their live show is incredible—and incredibly loud. This video actually does a pretty decent job of capturing that, as well. Hail Sandrider!

Re: Video: Pig Destroyer + New Bassist John Jarvis Cover Helmet’s “In The Meantime”

Actually, it doesn't. Liking one configuration of a band is not mutually exclusive to liking another iteration of the same band. Your logic is inherently flawed.

I can thoroughly enjoy their past music while still being excited at the prospect of how their music might change with the addition of bass to it.

Your vitriol raises a question that has long baffled me—why would anyone "just like this crap to like it?" This makes no sense whatsoever. Of course, it's not that uncommon for folks to pretend to like something that's trendy or popular in order to appear more relevant or hip to those around them. But in the case of a band like Pig Destroyer, this concept falls flat. Precisely no one in my daily life, save for my close friends, are even aware that this band exists, so I have zero motive to like this band for any reason other than the fact that I enjoy their music, and have for ten years.

You seem to be quite bitter that someone could enjoy a band that you don't see any merit in, which is frankly very sad. To paraphrase your own words, "you just hate hate hate anything they do." Get over it.

Re: Video: Pig Destroyer + New Bassist John Jarvis Cover Helmet’s “In The Meantime”

Yeah, that totally demonstrates how overrated they are! Drumkit from Hell (the predecessor the Superior Drummer, which is the deluxe version of EZDrummer) changed everything for me.

Before DfH, it was incredibly difficult (and time-consuming) for me to create realistic blastbeats and drum rolls. I'd spend hours on a single track—and we're talking grindcore, where my average song length is around a minute.

After DfH (and now Superior), it's so simple and so much more fun. I am a drummer myself, so this lets me easily program the drum parts that I would play and then get to the business of recording. While I never deceive people and tell them it's a real drummer, I can't tell you how many times folks have asked me "who the hell played drums on that!?"

Superior Drummer is a goddamn godsend.

Re: Unsigned and Unholy: Boss Keloid, Shaded Enmity, Assayer | MetalSucks

Seattle represent! Do whatever you can to see Shaded Enmity live!

They stopped playing shows for a little while over the last year or so (I think their drummer was overseas or something), so that might explain why you haven't heard of them.

Their live shows are great, and a ton of fun. They used to play at the 2 Bit in Ballard fairly regularly.

Their album Like Prayers on Deaf Ears is my personal favorite.

Re: Too Soon?
