Gary certainly has a great way with words, and knows how to break it down so that anyone can get it. I took a peak at your MBA Book Club blog...looks really interesting. Now I've got to find where I put my Tumblr account info. haha.

Re: Get Known? or Know People?

Hey Matt,

That's a great problem to have (i.e. too many contacts).

I think I have an idea to help you out. Here goes.

Since you need to track contacts. And you have an iPhone. And you have a WordPress blog. You could create a contact database, online, put everyone into one database (noting their user accounts for all the social networks you know them from) and then password protect it, say inside your blog. That way, you pull out your iPhone, log-in to your WordPress (for iPhone 2.0), and you can pull up or update any contact, from anywhere you can access the internet. How's that sound?

Re: BAM- Customer Service Done Right- Review

Ok, Chris, I like you. I really do. But. Never. Do. That. Again. Period. That is how people get killed on the road! Multi-tasking is a myth!

Now, that book sounds cool. Thanks for the review.

Re: Are You Addicted to Social Media?

I've attempted a variation on #3 - Set aside a "No E-mail" day, only I decided to try complete blackout. That's right. I chose to not even turn-on the computer. All day. No computer. Difficult, but not impossible. Great for when you need to unwind, destress, read a book, relax, listen to some music.

I chose Sunday's, a natural, "day of rest" that worked for me. I've only done it a few times so far, but it really does help you realize there's more to life than just what's online.

And now that it's cold enough here in Florida, we've enjoyed some fire in a fire pit on the back patio. Reminds you of what else is out there. Great stuff. I recommend to anyone. The fire and the tech sabbath, that is.

(Note to self: start a social media addict recovery center and make billions. Whoops, I wrote that for the whole world to see it! Haha, oh, well. I'll still make billions, someone always forgets. Hehe.)

Re: Book Review: Crush It! – Part One

Hey Connie, I'm glad the quotes helped you. I'm rather nerdy about books, so I like to use the TOC to help me see the 'big picture' of the book. Always good to have a map, especially when it tells you that there are exciting things ahead! Have you bought the book yet?

Re: Book Review: Crush It! – Part One

Hey Matt, no problem man. Always glad to help out.

There's a lot of great stuff in the book. I'm sure we'll be talking about it for awhile. Maybe we can start a book reading group and this can be the first one. What do you think?

Re: Quest for an Entrepreneurial Voice – My Philosophy

Hey Connie,

Thanks for the encouragement. It has been a difficult road just to get to this point, but I'm confident that this blog will help me focus my passions. I look forward to learning from others, like yourself, who have struggled to make a place for themselves in the world. I think that is often the most difficult thing we're placed here to learn.

Re: Quest for an Entrepreneurial Voice – My Philosophy

Hey Greg, thanks for all the encouragement! I couldn't have done it without your help. I really needed the push to get started blogging, but now I'm so glad I did. I hope to be Rock Star worthy soon!

Re: Gary Vaynerchuk Gives Shout out to MindFrenzy about “Crush It”

Oh, it does rock! Can't wait to start discussing with everyone. It's like going to see a cool new movie and then having to wait for everyone else to see it so you can talk about it without ruining the ending. :-)

Re: Gary Vaynerchuk Gives Shout out to MindFrenzy about “Crush It”

Nice shoutout Jared!

You're still waiting for your copy of the book? That's so sad. Hmm, what do I have in my hot little hands? You guessed it, "Crush It" hehe. I know that's kinda mean. Sorry. I'll let you borrow it ... well, I dunno. Maybe not. So, hard to be nice when you have fresh garyvee power in your hands. ;-P

We'll have to start a book club and this can be the first book to read and discuss.

Later man!

Peace.

Re: Lifestyle Design: My Exile Lifestyle

You're the "James Bond of Lifestyle Design" - yes, you can steal it... ;-)

Mad props for implementing the Ferriss Method; I can't wait to get to the point where I too can jet to Buenos Aires, et al on a whim. Happy travel is light travel.

Keep up the good work, and maybe send us back some 'facturas'...please? Hehe.

Re: On Nature, Geeks, The Environment, and Micro-Economics

Hey Camille!

Thanks for reading! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've just gotten started with blogging, but I'm really excited and I'm learning a lot.

I hope to see you again soon. Say "Hi" to Erik and the kids for me!

Re: Entrepreneurship Quest Goal Meet Lamborghini Reventon

Yeah, one day it would be cool to have one. Gotta shoot for something right!

I like what Tim Ferriss says in The Four Hour Workweek about calculating how much it would 'really' cost to get a big toy, like a car. Not as far off as we might think. Good stuff.

Re: How to be an entrepreneur despite your personality type

I love the idea of finding out about your personality first. (Why try to force a square peg in a round hole?)

My results say: ENTJ "The Executive" / Field Marshal (Only 2% of the population is this type).

The type relationships are interesting too, as they give you a way to see who can help you, and with what. For example, your type is listed as the "Complement" to my type. It says that means "compatible strengths with opposite emphases." Pretty cool, huh? Now I know why I enjoyed your interview with Jun Loayza (awhile back) so much when I first discovered his site. ;-)

Great series you're working on. I'm new to the entrepreneurship/blogging world, so now I know who to look to as my "market leader." Thanks!
