In order to get it working on a mac I installed macports (&lt;a href="http://www.macports.org" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" title="www.macports.org"&gt;www.macports.org&lt;/a&gt;) and then ran:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;$ sudo port install rb-rubygems rb-builder rb-hpricot&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Also, I changed the StatementsFolder and OfxOutputFolder to:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;StatementsFolder = '/Users/&amp;lt;myusername&amp;gt;/Documents/Personal/Finance/Egg/statements/'&lt;br&gt;OfxOutputFolder = '/Users/&amp;lt;myusername&amp;gt;/Documents/Personal/Finance/Egg/statements/'&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;so I can keep the program seperate from my statements (keeps it neater for me).
