A good practice to follow when doing a SWOT analysis is start with a PESTLE analysis. A comprehensive PESTLE analysis provide you with clear external factors which you can add to your opportunities and threats section of the SWOT. Plus, SWOT goes through changes overtime so it's a good idea to create it as an online document where you can track those changes.
