Interesting point. I agree, being +/- a feature or two has zero relevance for the mainstream consumer, it's all about the experience. And that's exactly where Apple excels.

Thanks for getting the Cheers theme song stuck in my head. Seriously though, I read this blog equally for the comments, it's amazing how interactive and real the discussion is. I'm waiting for one of the commenters to spin off and become a psychiatrist/radio host. Thanks for putting in the time and creating the venue for such a dialogue, and thanks to everyone else for joining!

If you are a multitasker (i.e. keep many tabs open), Chrome is definitely the way to go. It's much faster than FF (even with AdBlockPlus on) and the multi-process architecture is awesome. Some sites used to significantly slow down and freeze FF for me, but with Chrome, you can kill individual tabs or plugins (i.e. Shockwave) without having to close down your entire session.

I hope it comes out for macs soon.

Yes, very true. I bet the medical insurance companies give discounts based on these programs, and so there's probably a monetary incentive to have 'em. Thing is, it's more than just programs, it's a lifestyle...
