One of my favorite scenes of all time is the border battle scene in Sicario. It is a masterclass in directing, pacing, and creating tension with very little dialogue. Not only that, but, the action changes Emily Blunt's character when she makes a split decision to shoot a police officer (who was about to kill her). I see your point and I partially agree. No you can't keep the games with no strings attached, you have to remain a psplus member, but the service is second to none (even gamefly is more expensive if you want to rent games, but at least you can choose the ones you want to play)

Can you honestly say that Microsoft's 2 free games deal a month is a better deal? Where else can you essentially get 4 free games rentals? (rentals, since, you only get access to the games as long as you're a plus member)

Well rounded list of tips, Carolyn. One thing that I would add is to NOT accept every meeting or to find alternate (see: techie) ways to meet, such as Skype. Sometimes people want to meet just to meet and there's nothing productive getting done. Sometimes a simple phone call would do. Think about how much time could be saved by not saying "sure, let's meet this week." Just a thought.

That's a good lesson learned, Ramon! I absolutely understand having to go out to a store and get something for your wife you've never seen, heard of, or care to use, lol. Great personal (non-techy) CRM is one of the main keys for small business success. It's what separates us from large enterprises. We have the ability to reach and impact customers on intimate levels. To me, this is what drives small business and what makes us successful!

You're always going to have a few "rotten eggs" in your business, it's just comes with the territory. However, even if the customer isn't always right, you must always put them first. That means, walk in their shoes, and help them understand your policies & procedures. Be kind, courteous, and respectful. If you can satisfy them with a refund even if it was their fault do it. Why? Because they'll come back and buy from you again . . . next time, with a better understanding of your products. As small business owners we have a unique opportunity to serve our customers 1-on-1 . . . to give them intimate & personal service. That's why they come back to us.
You mentioned that you share ideas on how to use your products using social media. Maybe you should post some short training videos to go along with your major products. Or address similar customer issues in a blog post or short video. Train your customers and they'll become your product advocates!
